Welcome to Gold Fork German Shepherds home on the web- our "real" home is in the beautiful central mountains of Idaho just across the valley from the new all-season resort of Tamarack where our German Shepherds enjoy the western outdoor lifestyle. They have fresh air, sunshine and plenty of room to run.

Our dogs are bred to love and protect. These are not "Kennel dogs" - they are raised in our home with lots of attention and TLC. Our German Shepherds are members of our family, not an "investment."

Gold Fork's German Shepherds are OLD STYLE they are heavy muscled and boned with straighter backs and no extreme angulations, exceptional gentle temperaments and superior intelligence. We receive comments all the time about how our Shepherds look and act like the Shepherds of "long ago."

We feel our dogs truly reflect the way the German Shepherd Dogs were originally big and healthy, with hearts and brains to match their size.
